Drivers are warned to expect delays after reports a car hit a telegraph pole in Ashford Road, Sellindge.

The A20 is closed following the accident, which happened earlier around 2pm.

It is understood that power cables have fallen down and emergency crews are at the scene.

The road is closed from the junction with Swan Lane to allow the electricity company to attend the scene.

A police spokesman said no injuries have been reported.
