Duo released after being arrested over burglaries in West Cliff Gardens, Folkestone

A pair of suspected burglars arrested in connection with two break-ins have been released.

The crimes, which happened in West Cliff Gardens, Folkestone between August 7-8, have sparked a police appeal for witnesses.

A homeless 36-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested on Sunday, August 10, as was a 45-year-old man from Folkestone on Thursday, September 7.

Both men have been released pending further inquiries.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Officers are still keen to hear from any witnesses, who have not yet been in touch."
