Jordan Adams, from London, jailed for stabbing Chatham woman in robbery at Folkestone hotel

A knifeman who twice stabbed a vulnerable woman in her hotel room - before she was kidnapped by a gang in a drugs row - has been locked up.

Jordan Adams, 22, was visiting the 20-year-old victim from Chatham at the Hotel Burstin in Folkestone, in March when he stabbed her twice in the left leg before fleeing with class A drugs.

In the trial of three Londoners last month, it was revealed Adams' victim was later kidnapped and subjected to an horrific attack lasting hours after she refused to hand over money she owed them for drugs.

The victim, who KentOnline has decided not to name, called 999 and was taken to a local hospital.

Police found CCTV footage showing Adams going into her hotel room around the time of the attack, and he was arrested.

Adams pleaded guilty to the robbery at Canterbury Crown Court.

He was sentenced to six years in prison, with an additional consecutive six months for possessing a blade.

Detective Constable Andrew Dale said: "This was a vicious attack on a vulnerable victim, an act which will not be tolerated.

"The victim has shown bravery throughout this process and I'm pleased Adams is off the streets where he will no longer be a threat to the public."

After the ordeal in Folkestone, Kaswayne Williams, 20, George Emmett and Sheneqwa Delpratt, kidnapped the woman from Hopewell Drive, Chatham and drove her to a secluded park in London where Williams beat her with a metal baseball bat, knuckleduster and dog chain.

At one stage a sock was stuffed into her mouth to stifle her screams. The attack, on April 1, lasted two hours and 45 minutes before she was dumped from the car.

The vicious trio are all now behind bars with Williams, of Peckham Park Road, Peckham serving a 16-year prison stretch and four years on licence.

Emmett, 19, of Lakeside Close, Sidcup, was jailed for eight years and Delpratt, 20, of New Paragon Walk, Walworth was locked up for five years.
