Man charged with attempted murder after stabbing in Folkestone

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing during an alleged burglary.

The victim, in his 20s, was rushed to a London hospital on Wednesday after sustaining serious injuries in an apparent break-in.

Police were called to Biggins Wood Road in Folkestone shortly before 5pm.

They arrested 20-year-old George Mee yesterday and have charged him with attempted murder and aggravated burglary, both of which relate to the same incident.

Mee, of Cromwell Park Place in Folkestone, is due to appear at Maidstone magistrates later today.

The victim is no longer in a critical condition.
