Police are not treating the death of a man found in a street as suspicious.

Officers were called to a report of concern for the welfare of a man in Dover Road, Folkestone at 11.50am yesterday.

Officers attended along with Secamb and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A spokesman added: "The death is not being treated as suspicious.

"The man’s next of kin have been made aware and a report will now be prepared for the coroner."
