Man, 38, charged in connection with stabbing in Ingoldsby Road, Folkestone

Police have charged a 38-year-old-man in connection with a stabbing in a Kent town.

A man was attacked at Ingoldsby Road, Folkestone, on Saturday night.

Matthew Green, 38, of Wood Avenue, Folkestone, was arrested on suspicion of a different but connected incident.

He has been charged with assault and will appear before Medway magistrates today (June 19).

a 23-year-old woman and men aged 28 and 32 have been released on police bail pending further enquiries until July 10.

Officers were called to the scene at 8.39pm.

A police spokesman said: “Officers attended the scene where a 38-year-old man had suffered minor injuries consistent with stab wounds."

Enquiries into the circumstances of the assault are ongoing.
