Man, 20s, assaulted and robbed under viaduct in Bradstone Road, Folkestone

A man in his twenties has been reportedly assaulted by two masked men who robbed him.

It happened at around 10.15pm on Friday when the victim was walking along a path under the viaduct in Bradstone Road in Folkestone when he was approached by two men.

It is said the men asked if he had any money before assaulting him with an unknown object.

The victim turned to run away and as he did, dropped some money, which was picked up by the suspects.

The victim sustained an injury to his face.

Police are now appealing for witnesses.

One of the men is described as being white, 5ft 5ins tall, and was wearing a grey tracksuit with the hood up and white trainers.

The second man is described a 5ft 8ins tall and wore blue jeans and a black hooded top with white trainers.

Both suspects were believed to be wearing balaclavas or scarves to cover their faces.
