A moped rider was taken to hospital after a crash with a car.

It happened at Cheriton Road, Folkestone, shortly before midday today.

Police attended and South East Coast Ambulance Service said that the victim, a man, was taken to hospital in Ashford.

A spokesman said: “The male moped rider was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to William Harvey Hospital.”
