Police and ambulance crews rushed to Swan Lane, in Sellindge, after a crash between a Peugeot 107 and a motorbike

Emergency crews rushed to Sellindge this morning after crash between a car and a motorbike.

Police were called to Swan Lane around 11am after reports a purple Peugeot 107 and a blue Yamaha motorcycle had collided.

The road was temporarily closed but has since been reopened and officers said the traffic is now flowing freely.

One eyewitness said she noticed a large number of bikes out in today's good weather and said it should be a warning to riders and drivers to be careful.

The motorcyclist was treated by paramedics at the scene but police said no serious injuries were reported.

The extent of his injuries are not yet known.
