Motorway reopens as Operation Stack removed

Sorry, this video asset has been removed.

Operation Stack is no longer in place on the M20.

It was implemented coastbound between junctions 8 and 9 on Thursday to cope with the traffic backlog caused by the fire in the Channel Tunnel.

Kent Police have advised motorists to check before travelling coastbound on the motorway.

Eurotunnel has resumed a freight service only and Eurostar has resumed a limited service, after the south tunnel was reopened late on Friday.
