Silvia Medzihradska and two men jailed for kidnap and assault

A Folkestone mother-of-two recruited two men to help her carry out a revenge kidnapping of an ex-lover, who she then beat with a belt.

Furious Silvia Medzihradska lured the father of one of her children to a supermarket on the pretext of seeing their three year old.

But after arriving, the 44-year-old woman led the victim through a gap in a hedge to a vehicle where her current boyfriend and a pal were waiting.

Canterbury Crown Court heard the victim was punched before being bundled into the back of her car, tied with duct tape and driven towards Hawkhurst.

Prosecutor Daniel Stevenson revealed the 47-year-old was then walked into woodland where Medzihradska used a canvass belt leaving him with welt marks.

One of the attackers later claimed the belt had been used "at least 15 times".

The victim was then forced into sending her a text message handing over their home and holiday time share and £1,000.

The blood spattered and muddy victim was then forced into the back of the six-seater Ford Galaxy car and returned to the Morrison’s store where turned to a store security guard for help.

Now Medzihradska, her lover Ladislov Schulz, 32 and her 43-year-old lodger Robert Cencer, all of Blackbull Road, Folkestone admitted kidnapping and assault.

"It was manipulative as the child was used as bait to lure the victim to the point he would be over-powered" - Judge Rupert Lowe

The lovers were each jailed for four years and the lodger received a 30 month jail sentence.

Judge Rupert Lowe told her that she had used their child as bait to lure the suspicious victim to the supermarket where he was over-powered.

“This was a planned kidnap, planned in order to wreak revenge upon a partner with whom there had been the usual arguments following an acrimonious separation.

“It was manipulative as the child was used as bait to lure the victim to the point he would be over-powered."

Mr Stevenson said that Medzihradska and the victim had met through an online chatroom but after the birth of the child the relationship became “dysfunctional” and the couple split.

She made allegation of being attacked by her former lover and the court heard that on one occasion he received a police caution for an offence of battery.

After a series of rows Medzihradska texted her estranged ex-lover and despite his suspicions he agreed to meet in the car park where he was expecting to spend time with his child.
