Man arrested after alleged rape in Lower Radnor Park, Folkestone

Police have arrested a man following an allegation of rape in Folkestone.

It is said to have taken place in Lower Radnor Park, Radnor Park Avenue, some time after 10pm on Saturday, September 30.

The victim, a woman in her late teens, reported the attack to police in the early hours of the following day.

Shortly afterwards police detained a 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of rape.

He has since been released pending further enquiries.
