Capel-le-Ferne crash: Two vans collide on New Dover Road

Two vans have crashed head on in Capel-le-Ferne.

Traffic is beginning to tail back through the village on New Dover Road after the smash this lunchtime.

Police and paramedics are at the scene after the vehicles collided.

Witnesses have reported the road is totally blocked near the junction with Avondale Road in the centre of the village.

The road is a busy route between Folkestone and Dover.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police received a report of a collision involving two vans at 11.56am on Wednesday 12 October.

"Officers attended the scene in New Dover Road, Capel-Le-Ferne.

"A man reported injuries believed to be minor."
