An internet prankster from Folkestone is under fire for uploading a "disgusting" video which shows him 'killing' a man in front of his best friend.

Pepper shot the video in the in the USA with fellow YouTubers Sam Golbach and Colby Brock.

The video shows Golbach being kidnapped alongside Brock who is then 'shot' by Pepper right in front of Golbach.

He is visibly distressed at the sight and thought his best friend has been murdered right in front of him.

The five-minute video has been viewed more than 2 million times.

An online petition was set up on Sunday immediately after the video was posted.

It says: "In light of Sam Pepper's most recent video in which he makes light of kidnapping a person against his will and pretending to shoot his best friend in front of him, we propose that Pepper's channel be removed.

"He clearly doesn't understand boundaries or have any respect for those people who have lost their lives and believes that murder can be staged as a prank.

"It is disgusting especially as it appears to mirror situations where people really have got killed.

"Sam Pepper needs to be stopped. This is not his first offence and it won't be his last, unless we stop him."

Pepper, who went to school at Pent Valley College in Folkestone, has come under fire before for inappropriate videos.

In September 2014, the former Big Brother housemate, was criticised for videos which appeared to show him groping women. He later revealed it was "a social experiment".

Golback has since defended the video saying it was never intended to be a funny video.

He wrote: "I'm not traumatised, I don't hate either Colby or Sam. It's completely in sync with Colby and I's message we are trying to spread.

"Life is short. Appreciate every moment. And especially treasure your friends and make sure they know how important they are to you.

"We realise this isn't a video to make people laugh, instead it was supposed to show a true friendship."
