The Fullicks Stadium will be rocking on Tuesday night when Folkestone Invicta host Whyteleafe in the semi-finals of the Ryman League Division 1 South play-offs.

Neil Cugley's side will be roared on by a bumper crowd as they bid to reach the final for a second season running.

Folkestone finished the regular season second while Whyteleafe - promoted from the Southern Counties East League a year ago - were 17 points behind them in fifth.

But Cugley said: "I think all four teams in the play-offs are about the same.

"We’ll be giving everything we can and hopefully lots of people come along.

"Because Whyteleafe did so well last year, they’ve carried on their momentum and they’ve got some good players like (Roscoe) D’Sane and (Greg) Andrews."

Folkestone go into the game on the back of a 14-match unbeaten run which included a 1-1 draw with league champions Burgess Hill on Saturday.

Cugley said: "We’re lucky because for the last month every game has had something on it.

"We wanted to get in the play-offs, see how far we could go, get a home play-off game and then get the runners-up spot. I love that.

"For a lot of managers and players, the last month of the season doesn’t mean anything – but it does here and hopefully now we can finish the task off."

There was nothing between the sides when they met in the regular season. Invicta drew 1-1 at Whyteleafe on August 19 and the return match at the Fullicks Stadium on December 6 finished goalless.

Cugley has a full squad to pick from, which means forwards Ashley Miller and Jon Pilbeam - both left on the bench in recent weeks - are both fit and ready for action.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
