Folkestone and Hythe players included in Ryman League Division 1 South team of the year

A number of players from Kent teams were recognised at the Ryman League's presentation dinner on Saturday.

The league announced their team of the year for all three divisions, chosen by managers from all clubs.

Champions Folkestone were represented by three players in the Division 1 South team of the year.

Defenders Liam Friend and Frankie Chappell were joined by leading scorer Ian Draycott.

Hythe full-back Josh Burchell and forward Alfie May were also selected.

Tonbridge's Nicky Wheeler made the Premier Division team with Karl Dent of Cray Wanderers in the Division 1 North side.

Meanwhile, Sittingbourne won the Division 1 South Fair Play award.
