Folkestone manager Neil Cugley has warned his players to raise their game ahead of Saturday’s clash with free-scoring Tooting & Mitcham.

Cugley was critical of what he felt was a sub-standard display at Faversham on Saturday, when Invicta scored late to rescue a 2-2 draw.

Invicta have otherwise been in good form lately and they are looking to extend their unbeaten run at the Fullicks Stadium to eight games.

Cugley said: "We’ve played some good sides recently – Margate, Hungerford, Kingstonian – and we’ve got to get back to those standards.

"Tooting are one of those sides that scores a lot of goals and lets a lot in.

"They’ve got good forwards, so it should be an end-to-end game."

To underline Cugley's point, Tooting have the joint-best attack in Ryman League Division 1 South, while only two teams have conceded more.

Folkestone could welcome back Roland Edge this weekend after the midfielder was rested for the Faversham game.
