1,400 Oliver Bonas designer dresses stolen from Asda in Gravesend

Officers are appealing for witnesses after 1,400 designer dresses were reported stolen from a lorry in Gravesend.

The theft is believed to have happened between 10pm on Wednesday, January 17, and 5am on Thursday, January 18. A car was reported to have been seen near the lorry at 2am on the Thursday.

The identical dresses were reported stolen from the lorry while it was parked in an Asda car park in Imperial Retail Park in Thames Way, Gravesend.

The knee-length dress is a one-off design to be sold by the company Oliver Bonas and is described as navy in colour with a ‘dobby’ print.

The print is characterised by a small geometric pattern and extra texture in the material. The pattern is white and grey.

There is a tied sash belt around the dress which is in the same material and pattern as the dress. To secure the dress at the back there are three small buttons in the middle and two more buttons at the top.

The dresses come in size six to 18 and the product code is 011558670 which can be found in the car label and swing ticket.
