A man is due before magistrates after being arrested by police investigating a burglary.

The incident is reported to have happened on Larkfields, in Northfleet, at about 11.40pm on May 25.

Following enquiries, officers arrested a man on 2 June.

Gavin O'Connor, 28, previously of Packham Road, Gravesend, has been charged with burglary dwelling and theft.

He appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on June 3 and was remanded to prison until he is due to appear again on June 21.
