A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a car ended up on its roof in a front garden.
The 53-year-old, from Gravesend, was quizzed by police after Monday’s crash.
Police were called to Parrock Road, Gravesend, at 9.40am after the silver Ford Focus flipped over.
The passenger was freed from the car by firefighters and taken to King’s College Hospital in London by road.
He is in intensive care with serious injuries.
The driver was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham and has been released on bail until Thursday, October 16.
He has also been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
The air ambulance attended, but was not needed.
Police closed the road between Shrubbery Road and Old Road East as investigations continued.
The car was removed later that day.
