Police issue CCTV after four burglaries in a week in New Ash Green

Police have issued CCTV of a man they believe can help their investigation into four burglaries in the same village in the space of a week.

Officers were first informed of a burglary in Knights Croft, New Ash Green, between 10pm last Monday, July 17, and 5am the following day, during which two bags were stolen.

A bag and tablet was then stolen from a home in Over Minnis between 10pm on that Tuesday, July 18, and 5am on Wednesday, July 19.

Also on the Wednesday, at around 12.30pm, a man approached a house in Lambardes and attempted to open the front door with a screwdriver.

Then between 12.30pm and 2.15pm on Sunday, July 23, damage was caused to a door lock at another address in Knights Croft.

DC Mark Howell said: "I am keen to speak to this man and hope somebody will recognise him from the image.

"We would also like to speak to anyone who may have been in New Ash Green on the dates and times in question as they may have seen this man and have information that could help."
