Police hunt sexual predator who attacked woman from behind in The Avenue, Gravesend

Police are hunting a sexual predator who pounced on a woman from behind before attacking her.

They are hoping this e-fit will help them in the hunt for the predator who assaulted the woman in her 30s in The Avenue, Gravesend, at around 5.30pm on November 21.

It's claimed the man claimed he thought she was someone else when his victim challenged him after the assault.

But she believes she had been followed along her journey, from Darnley Road to Pelham Road before she entered The Avenue.

The suspect is described as an Asian man in his 40s with a round chubby face. It is believed he may have been wearing dark clothing.

Police want to hear from anyone who might recognise the man in the image to come forward.

Investigating officer DC Debbie Cummings said: "We've been following a number of lines of enquiry in the investigation thus far and I feel confident that the man in this image might hold information that could assist us."
