Coffee morning in Swanscombe to discuss town's tram project

A coffee and cake morning is being held on Sunday to discuss a town's new project.

The event, at Lil's Cafe, in Swanscombe, has been organised to gauge people's views about a new tram project for the town.

It has been organised by the KentEx Tram transport provider and is being held at the cafe in The Parade, High Street, from 11am to 1pm.

Transport campaigners are proposing the KenEx Thames Transit, which would provide an alternative to the Dartford Crossing and Lower Thames Crossing connecting Kent and Essex.
