Peter Adamjak appears in court charged with stealing smartphons, laptops and more from addresses in Gravesend

A man has appeared in court accused of stealing smartphones, laptops and various other items during a two week crime spree.

Peter Adamjak, 25, was arrested at his home in The Grove, Gravesend, at 7am on Sunday and has since been charged with four counts of burglary.

He reportedly stole a handbag containing cash and other items from a property in William Street, Gravesend, between Sunday 11 and Monday 12 September, and followed that up with three further burglaries over the course of the next 12 days.

On Sunday 18 he is said to have stolen a smartphone, computer and trainers from an address in The Grove, and between Thursday 22 and Friday 23 stole a television and other items from a property in the same street.

Another burglary was reported in Parrock Street on Saturday 24, during which a smartphone, two laptops and various other items were stolen.

Adamjak was remanded in custody when he appeared before Medway magistrates on Monday.

A date for his next court appearance has not yet been set.
