Gurvinder Singh Jagpal charged after a two-car crash in Harmer Street, Gravesend

A man has been charged after a two-car crash in Gravesend town centre.

Police were called at 9.37am on Friday following a the smash in Harmer Street.

Gurvinder Singh Jagpal, 41, of Bartlett Road, Gravesend, has been charged with drink-driving, driving while disqualified, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

He was bailed to appear before Medway magistrates on July 27.

No injuries were reported and officers spent more than an hour at the scene speaking to witnesses.
