Car and motorcycle crash in London Road, close to Rosherville Church of England Primary School, Northfleet

A car and a motorcycle have collided outside a primary school in Northfleet.

The accident in London Road, close to Rosherville Church of England Primary School, is said to have happened when a car was performing a u-turn in the road.

The incident took place during the middle of the school run at around 8.50am this morning and resulted in the motorcyclist being knocked off his bike.

A witness, speaking shortly after the crash, said he was receiving treatment from emergency services.

She said: “He’s shaken up, they’ve moved him off the road but from what I can see there no serious damage to him.”

The woman, who does not want to be named, said that the road is often a cause of concern for residents when it comes to accidents.

She added: “We’ve reported it to police a few times but from what I can see nothing has worked out.”

Police, ambulance services and fire brigade attended the scene.
