A fallen tree closed a road leading to Shorne Woods Country Park.
Pear Tree Lane, off the A226 Rochester Road, was shut shortly before 1pm on Friday.
A police car was blocking the road and motorists were being diverted, leading to heavy traffic through Shorne.
It is not known if the fallen tree caused any damage.
