Swanley man Levi Bruce accused of squirting 'drain cleaner' at teenagers in Gravesend street

A Swanley man has been charged with squirting what is believed to have been drain cleaner at two teenagers in Gravesend.

Levi Bruce, of Moultain Hill, is accused of throwing the acidic substance at the 19-year-old man and a boy of 16.

The pair suffered burns to their skin after the alleged attack in Ingoldsby Road and needed hospital treatment.

Bruce, 31, is charged with two offences of throwing a corrosive fluid.

He is due at Maidstone Crown Court next Friday after being remanded in custody when he appeared via video link at Medway Magistrates' Court.

Kent Police said it received reports of a row between two men in Ingoldsby Road on Tuesday, January 21.

The alleged victims are then said to have been squirted with what detectives believe was drain cleaner.
