A driver had a lucky escape after his car ended up on its roof following a crash.

Just one vehicle - a green Volksvagen - is believed to be involved in the crash which happened just before 5pm in Singlewell Road, Gravesend.

Police and an ambulance responder car were called to the scene but after checking the driver over paramedics decided he did not need hospital treatment.

The road was partially blocked by the upside down car.
