Police are investigating after a worried mum reported a man who approached her son as he made his way home from school.

The incident happened between 3.20pm and 3.35pm yesterday as the 11-year-old walked down London Road, Greenhithe, near the alleyway leading to Lover's Lane.

The man, who was black, wearing a white t-shirt and camouflage trousers, reportedly pulled up alongside the boy in a black car.
