Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish has bolstered his squad ahead of Tuesday’s match with Hampton & Richmond by signing teenage full-back Ryan Blake.

The 19-year-old has joined the Fleet on a one-month loan and will go straight into the squad for the midweek Blue Square Bet South fixture.

Fan donations funded the move through the My Football Club Promotion Pledge and a donation from the Fleet Trust.

Daish is short of players on Tuesday as he is missing Derek Duncan, Scott Ginty, Ram Marwa through suspension and there are concerns over Tom Phipps, after he limped off at the weekend.

New signing Blake has made just one first team appearance for Brentford and he has represented Northern Ireland at youth level.
