Firefighters called to kitchen fire in Black Eagle Drive, Northfleet

A third-floor flat was ablaze this afternoon with more than a dozen firefighters trying to tackle the inferno.

Crews were called to the property in Black Eagle Drive, Northfleet, just after 4.30pm following reports of a kitchen fire.

Three units from Kent Fire and Rescue were deployed to the scene. There are currently no casualties reported and the cause is unknown.
