Girl, six, trapped in climbing frame in Warwick Place in Northfleet

A little girl has been rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in a climbing frame.

The six-year-old's leg slipped between two bars in the structure in Warwick Place, Northfleet, yesterday afternoon.

When she tried to pull her leg free, she found she was stuck.

Firefighters from Thames-side station were called at about 6.30pm.

They managed to lift and twist her free from the structure. The girl was uninjured.
