Redrow given green light to build 180 homes for Ebbsfleet Garden City

Homebuilder Redrow has been given the green light to begin building 180 homes for Ebbsfleet Garden City.

One and two bedroom apartments will be built at Ebbsfleet Green, alongside two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes, with 28 of them available at “affordable” prices.

Redrow plans to build 950 homes at the site.

Chris Lilley, south east managing director, said: “Having worked so closely with the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation to reach this point, we’re delighted that plans for our first phase of 180 high quality homes have been given the go ahead.

“It’s exciting to be part of Ebbsfleet Garden City, which is set to become a highly desirable destination for homebuyers.”

Redrow’s scheme will also incorporate a site for a new primary school and a park, including sports pitches, a local shop, a community hall and a pub.
