Northfleet teen Jack Price spotted walking his ducks with girlfriend Katie Connolly along Milton Road in Gravesend

Teenagers Katie Connolly and boyfriend Jack Price caused ripples in Gravesend... when they were spotted walking their ducklings.

They belong to Jack, 16, after they were bought by girlfriend Katie last week as a present for his birthday.

The pair have been getting lots of attention after buying leads for them in Pets at Home.

Jack, of Dudley Road, Northfleet, said: "I've wanted them for ages after watching Joey and Chandler have one in Friends.

"Their names are Floyd and Danny, named after my favourite boxer Floyd Mayweather and footballer Danny Welbeck - Katie named them.

"We bought two leads for them in Pets at Home and since we've been walking them around town we've got so much attention, we even took them Bluewater."

And since being snapped on Twitter by our business editor Chris Price – who saw the ducks, complete with hi-viz jackets walking along Milton Road - they have become an internet hit.

Jack, who also has two cats and a dog, added: "People have been taking pictures, asking questions and just generally surprised about it."
