Admission costs £5 and includes complimentary tea, coffee, cake, entertainment from local three-piece vocal and ukulele trio ArteMiss.

The TV presenter will join fellow celebrities supporting the Secret Gardens initiative.

Among those due to turn up at local gardens throughout the summer are actor and EllenorLions patron Cheryl Fergison, Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins, former Meopham girl and A Place in the Sun presenter Laura Hamilton, TV gardening expert Tom Hart Dyke, Charlton Athletic footballer Danny Green and TV antiques expert Alison Chapman.

Kaddy said: “Secret Gardens is such a lovely idea and a wonderful way for people to view gardens in stunning locations across Kent.

"I encourage people to share their secrets, open their gardens and help such a worthy cause.

"Every garden has its own charm and being able to raise money in such a fun and easy way is great.”

All money raised from Secret Gardens will help EllenorLions Hospices to provide vital hospice care to seriously ill children and adults and their families in the local area.

Garden own Mr Kasper said: “EllenorLions is my local hospice and I know how much it relies on the generosity of the local community.

“I’m opening my garden on Father’s Day in the hope that local families will treat their dads to a lovely day out, in aid of a fantastic local charity.

“Fingers crossed Kaddy will bring the warm, sunny weather with her.”

Roger’s Secret Garden is at 217 Downs Road, Istead Rise, DA13 9HW.
