Houses damaged after blaze in Echo Square, Gravesend

Two properties have been damaged by a fire in Gravesend.

Firefighters were called to Echo Square just before 10.15pm after wooden and plastic building materials, which were stored between two properties, caught alight. 

Although the blaze did not spread inside the homes, there was heat and smoke damage to the bathroom of a flat, inside one of the properties and both exteriors were damaged.

Firefighters left the scene at 11.29pm.
