Arrest after man spotted on the roof of the Royal Clarendon Hotel, Gravesend

13 August 2014
by Gareth Arnold

Gardens in Gravesend were raked by police helicopter searchlights tonight after a wanted man was spotted in the town.

The helicopter was hovering over Gravesend at about 9pm. A police spokesman said officers were hunting a man in connection with threatening behaviour reported in Dartford in June.

Just before 10pm a figure was spotted on the roof of the Royal Clarendon Hotel.
