Two people have been arrested after a man was attacked outside a fast food restaurant in the early hours.

A 21-year-old man suffered a serious facial injury after a woman pushed him and a man punched him in the face in New Road, Gravesend between 3am and 4am on Saturday, August 8.

A 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman have now been arrested on suspicion of assault.

The pair have been bailed until 5 October pending further inquiries.
