A body has been found in a pond in Northfleet.
Police officers were called to woodland near Thames Way at 11.30am yesterday.
A force spokesman said they are not treating the death as suspicious.
The area was described as "dense woodland" with the area overgrown and difficult to get to.
It is not far from Ebbsfleet International train station.
Next of kin have been informed.
