A man was taken to hospital last night after being hit by a car.

The man, believed to be in his thirties, was hit at the roundabout on the B255 Bean Lane, just off the A2 near Bean at 8.10pm.

The man suffered injuries including a bump to the head and chest pain and was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital, Gillingham, for treatment.
