Brian Hall 'bled to death from neck wounds' and body was found in Northfleet garage

A pensioner whose body was found in a garage bled to death from neck wounds, an inquest hearing has been told.

Brian Hall, 66, was found in a garage in Campbell Road, Northfleet, last Thursday afternoon.

Police initially treated the death as suspicious and forensic officers spent more than 24 hours in the area.

However, on Saturday police revealed they no longer believed the death was suspicious and said a report was being prepared for the coroner.

An inquest into Mr Hall's death was opened at Aberdeen House in Ramsgate today.

The cause of death was given as a haemorrhage caused by "incised wounds to the neck".

The inquest was adjourned and will be resumed on a date to be confirmed.
