Person dies after police and ambulance called to 'medical incident' in Gravesend

A person is reported to have died after a 'medical incident' prompted a large scale emergency response this morning.

Residents reported seeing nine police cars, two ambulances and a critical care unit arrive outside Lansdowne Square in Gravesend, just before 11.30am.

One eyewitness said: "Obviously it's serious, because of the number of them. They've got a critical care unit. They took a defibrillator in as well.

"They've been there about an hour and a half. Some of the cars have gone but there's still about five of them there."

Kent Police confirmed they were called at 11.20am regarding a "report of a medical incident at a private address in Lansdowne Square, Gravesend."

They say officers attended the scene to assist the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

Further details have not yet been confirmed.
