Police appeal for witnesses after robbery in Northfleet

A gang of four masked thieves targeted a man and demanded cash during a daylight robbery.

The victim reported being robbed on the recreation ground in Beresford Road, Northfleet, on Saturday, February 17.

The 20-year-old victim was walking on the recreation ground at around 2.30pm when a group of four people are reported to have walked up to him and demanded money.

One of the suspects is alleged to have threatened the victim by raising his fists at him.

The victim threw his wallet at the group before he ran in the direction of Burnaby Road and London Road.

All four suspects are described as white with tanned skin, slim build and between 5ft 2in and 5ft 6in.

The first suspect is described as a man wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a navy blue Nike zipped jacket with the hood worn up.

The second suspect is described as a man wearing a black Adidas tracksuit with the hood pulled up while the third person, was reported as wearing a grey tracksuit with the hood also up.

It is unknown if this was a man or a woman.

A fourth person was described as wearing a blue Nike tracksuit with the hood up.

All four people were reported to be wearing masks over their faces.
