A police helicopter was called to look for a man in Gravesend after attempted house break in

A police helicopter searched through Gravesend last night (July 4) after an attempted break in.

A man tried access a house in St Hilda's Way, Gravesend just before 11pm on Wednesday.

Spokesman for Kent Police, James Walker, said: "Officers attended the scene and conducted an area search, with assistance provided by the National Police Air Service."

No arrests have been made, but enquiries are ongoing.
