Police looking to speak to driver after a car hit a wall and landed on its roof in Pelham Road, Gravesend

Police are looking to trace a driver of a car which landed on its roof after hitting a wall in Gravesend.

Officers were called to Pelham Road at 1.42pm yesterday after a car ploughed into a wall at the junction with Darnley Road.

The car then landed on its roof, blocking the road. Two other vehicles were damaged as a result. The road was closed until 3.30pm.

The driver and a passenger reportedly left the scene in the direction of the railway station. Investigators are looking to locate the driver.

They are described as white men aged in their 20s or late teens.

Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to call police on 101 quoting reference CAD 21-700.
