Mum Cheryl Prudham from Gravesend tells Sunday People she wants £2,600 C-section for 12th child

Mum-of-11 Cheryl Prudham wants a £2,600 caesarean on the NHS when she gives birth to her 12th child.

Cheryl, from Gravesend, told the Sunday People she is tired of giving birth naturally and is booked to have the operation next month.

She told the newspaper: "I know a caesarean costs more, but I don’t care. It’s what I want – it’s my body.

"I know more about giving birth than most people and I don’t want to put my body through labour again.

She added: "It's so much easier to have a caesarean. Some celebrities say they are too posh to push so why can't I?"

Cheryl also revealed she and her husband Robert are on a waiting list to move from their current five-bedroom home to 'a more upmarket area.'

She suggested that the council knock two houses into one to accommodate for the family, if there is not a large enough house available.

The couple were moved to Gravesend two years ago from their previous three-bed home in Teynham.

At the time of her last pregnancy, when she had twins, Cheryl told KentOnline it 'was nobody's business' how many children she had.

The People report claims the couple receive £39,192 a year on top of Robert’s monthly salary of £1,600 as a delivery driver – taking their income to nearly £60,000.

Cheryl has previously told KentOnline: "I work caring in the community every night for the elderly, a job a lot of people couldn't do.

"The figures for benefits are false. I don't wish to state how much we earn, and the ins and outs of finances, as that is no one's business."

Cheryl was a mum of eight before she turned 30 and the new arrival, who will be named Tilly Grace, will be her seventh daughter.
