Sex attack in Gravesend

A young woman has been sexually assaulted in broad daylight in Gravesend.

The attack on the 20-year-old woman, which police have described as a serious sexual assault, took place in the grounds of The Warren, Valley Drive, Gravesend.

The victim was walking home when she was grabbed by a man and assaulted at around 11.20am on March 10.

The incident only lasted a few seconds. The victim was able to escape, but was left extremely distressed.

She has described her attacker as a white male aged in his late 40s or early 50s, 5ft 7in, of medium build.

He had short dark hair and is believed to have been wearing dark clothing.

The Warren is an open space, popular with dog walkers.
