Lynch-McKeon, 20, of Silver Street, Gravesend was arrested for possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply and when officers checked his mobile phone it was found to have text messages consistent with dealing.

He pleaded guilty and was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court on November 30.

He was also sentenced for possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs on February 19 and April 26, possession of Class A drugs on June 8, and breach of a conditional discharge on September 27.

He received a total prison sentence of 4 years which will be served in a Young Offenders Institution.

Detective Inspector Kevin Downard said: "Lynch-McKeon was already on bail for drugs offences when the police dog picked him out.

"Having failed to learn from his earlier arrests, he will now have the time in prison to consider how he will conduct himself when released.

"We also need help from residents to ensure people like Lynch-McKeon are punished for their crimes. If you see anything suspicious, always report it to police, via 101 or call 999 if it's an emergency."
