Emmanuel Ngcongco due before magistrates after robbery with blade

A man's due in court after a robbery and threat to steal a car in Greenhithe.

It comes after a man was allegedly robbed of his phone and wallet at around 9pm yesterday in Mounts Road.

Then, a man is believed to have threatened a group with what's described as a blade and attempted to steal a car in a nearby car park.

Officers attended the scene and conducted a search.

They arrested Emmanuel Ngcongco, of no fixed address.

Ngcongco, 18, has since been charged with two counts of possessing a bladed article, robbery and criminal damage.

He will appear before magistrates on Saturday.
